i am glad the picture prompted thought.
you could add media agencies to the side and even back end suppliers who are attacking agencies from the bottom. when you also throw in consumers into the mix it becomes even more complicated but the basic premise remains the same.
where will the digital agencies be when everyone does digital as a matter of course. will they migrate to creative agencies – glue is currently pitching for eurostar lead creative agency – will they focus on looking at innovation where the other agencies can’t operate?
i would like to think that as the guys that really get the new marketing dymanic they would be the guys running the other agencies…
